Small Character Inkjet Coding

Ci 1000

The Citronix series of continuous inkjet printers are specially designed to print permanent lot codes, date codes, logos and text to any type of substrate; metal, glass, wood, plastic, paper and more. All systems have a stainless steel enclosure as protection against dust, water and debris, ensuring reliable operation even in the most demanding industrial environments. The ci1000 is ideally suited for high speed production lines with immediate dry inks that have strong adhesion properties. The Citronix ci500 reduces operating costs by eliminating the need for makeup or top up solvents. Citronix printers combine top print performance characteristics, advanced operation control, simplicity, reliability and affordability.

Laser Coding

K-1000

ID Technology offers a complete range of laser coding systems for creating a clean permanent mark on an extensive selection of surfaces; including paper, cardboard, glass, wood and metal. K-Series CO2 laser systems are able to print up to 4 lines of text for both static and dynamic applications.

The K-Series of laser coders work through a combination of extremely fast mirror tracking systems and the most modern software and easy to use hardware on the market. The incredibly compact design along with an adjustable marking head ensures that you can install these coding systems on even the most complicated production lines. These systems can even be integrated into other packaging equipment.

It is not necessary to have an expensive and space consuming PC on the production line. Operator's can create and edit messages using a hand-held terminal or remote touch screen via RS-232 and the ScanLinux software included in the laser marking system. Or for greater control and increased graphic features a remote PC can be used. ScanLinux software is compatible with Windows 95/98/NT/Me/2000/XP operating systems. Several laser coders can be networked together via ethernet and optional Marca software.

Thermal Transfer Over Printers

Thermal Transfer Over

ID Technology offers a comprehensive range of high-speed thermal transfer overprinters for intermittent and continuous motion vertical and horizontal form, fill & seal machinery. Ideal for printing variable information onto PD, PP, paper and Tyvek, thermal transfer overprinting results in a sharp, clear image without compromising production speed. The COMMUNICATOR can print from speeds of 50mm per second to 1,400mm per second. The COMMUNICATOR maintains high quality print during extreme accelerations and decelerations - operating with unprecedented precision while following the packaging machine's speed. This means the COMMUNICATOR can be integrated into both intermittent and continuous packaging lines. The production line will then have optimum flexibility - regardless of whether it is continuous or intermittent. The simple robust design of the COMMUNICATOR allows for easy maintenance and rapid ribbon replacement as well as the capacity for 1,400 meter rolls of ribbon - 50% more than our closest competitor. The S-Model overprinters were designed primarily for integration with label applicators. The S-IM model delivers a print area 53mm x 55mm and can run at speeds up to 600mm/sec. While the S-CM overprinter works in a continuous mode at speeds up to 1,000mm/sec at 300 dpi and is designed to accommodate even the most complex applications. The S-CM delivers print areas up to 53mm x 2,400mm without sacrificing print speed or quality. The TM printer is an intermittent printer that was custom designed for direct integration into the various multi-lane, thermo forming packaging machines and all horizontal form/fill/seal packaging machines. It uses a 300 dpi print head and can achieve a print speed of 1,000mm/sec. TM printers come in two printhead widths, 53mm and 128mm and travels up to 600mm in print length. All IDT Thermal Transfer Overprinters feature the Unicontroller control and input device. The Unicontroller has a 5.7" LCD touch screen with an easy, accessible menu structure. The operator can easily adjust the print message using the touchscreen or external PC software. In fact, the Unicontroller is an industrial Windows based PC with a built-in 32 MB Flashcard (optional 1 GB available) and Ethernet port. No external PC is required to create print messages. Patented FADING and RETRACTING technology to maximize ribbon usage is a standard feature of all continuous motion overprinters. By utilizing ribbon more efficiently and extending printhead life by decreasing energy used, many users will reduce the cost of labeling by as much as 20% in relation to competing printers.
